DISCOVER THIS WAY
Last week, Renaissance Hotels celebrated its 8th annual Global Day of Discovery, which is particularly special because it also marks the launch of Renaissance Hotels’ new global campaign, Discover This Way, signifying a new era for the brand.

As part of the celebration, Renaissance Hotels highlighted the storied neighborhood of Harlem, where it is set to open in 2020. This Way partners including singer Judith Hill, Chef Marcus Samuselsson, comedian Nicole Byer (Netflix’s “Nailed It!”), rapper Biz Markie (VH1 Top 100 song “Just a Friend”), graffiti godfather Ces, DJ and music producer mOma, and more, helped immerse guests in the local color, flavor and characters of this celebrated Uptown neighborhood — think Sleep no More meets scavenger hunt meets epic block party.

“We have been on a mission to continue to evolve what Renaissance Hotels offers today, and this year’s Global Day of Discovery and new “Discover This Way” campaign officially marks a new era for the brand,” said George Fleck, Vice President of Global Brand Marketing & Management, Renaissance Hotels. “Today’s travelers want to feel like they’ve experienced the DNA of the neighborhood in the destination they are visiting and make the most of their trip. With help from our This Way neighborhood partners, we are committed to giving travelers something a little bit unexpected every step along their journey.”

Guided by Renaissance’s Navigators (a cheeky spin on the traditional concierge), partygoers were whisked off on a neighborhood adventure to local haunts and hidden gems.
